At least your getting something out of it now. For that blade, you can use your bench girnder to clean it. All you need to clean is the part where you are clamping your charger lead to it, and most of the part that will be submerged in water.

At least your getting something out of it now. For that blade, you can use your bench girnder to clean it. All you need to clean is the part where you are clamping your charger lead to it, and most of the part that will be submerged in water.

The water is turning browner by the minute but a slow steady process. It might quicker if I used a smaller container for the cap. It in a 2 gallon bucket but only filled like half gallon with one tablespoon of washing soda.

Now keep in mind guys that oil filler cap was just as rusty as the intake. Might change the water soon.

Now use the same set up with your OLD charger I bet it still works

I say to hell with that oil cap. Now that you got something working, lets get on with the meat and taters !!! Get that intake cookin !!! So do this, use your old charger on the oil cap so we can see what it does, and use the new charger on the intake. Chop Chop, :grd:

I guess I could use the rebar for the oil cap and mower on the intake til I get angle grinder to clean the angle iron.
