I'm holding myself back from too many cool modifications because I don't want my kids to like it so much that they don't have the urge to buy their own once they have the money saved up Eventually it will be lowered and I'll do some bodywork to it to make it pristine but she's gonna have to wait her turn and go through some pain of teenage drivers first

I've got a 91 project S10, that I would be happy to see leave the premises. Cab and front clip very nice, sitting on a rolling long bed frame(not bolted down). Missing some odds and ends, but with a good running 4 Cylinder, 5 speed, new clutch. No bed but has bumpers and complete exhaust. Make me an offer I can't refuse?? Possible shipping to somewhere ? between Western Idaho to the middle of Missouri early July )via I84/I80....Idaho Utah Wyoming Nebraska to KC and then Marshall.....Let's talk......please??

Yeah, Ted I thought you had a 4.3. Think they used a NV3500? Connected bellhousing, juice clutch. totally different, but I'd still make you a heckuva deal!!!

If it would go in my truck no prob id be on it! I like my 700R but a 5'er would make this lil ripper a blast!!

Carpet installed. Now tracking down new/used (but in good shape) seatbelts as the ones in this rig are in bad shape. Also got some plans for that dingy seat. Going to get it rebuilt and recovered in the next few weeks hopefully.

Welp, on Tuesday I drove her to work. She was “fine” when I parked her. Some rust goblins were out about whilst at work and when I came out she was a lot noisier than she shoulda been. Shoulda see the surprised and WTF faces on me and the lady parked next to me when I fired her up I peaked under her suspecting someone stole the cat on her and found this …

So I tapped on the keyboard and clicked the ole mouse and ordered a new cat odd rock auto. Installed her today. Not too bad of a job. Just some cutting and some exhaust clamps and the new cat was in

Somehow forgot about this thread so let me give a few updates. I've mostly been driving it over the last several months and recently teaching my 15 year old how to drive on it. With that said, I have had to do some maintenance here recently.

1. Replaced the muffler and rest of the exhaust pipe a few months back, so the truck now has a completely new exhaust from the manifold on back.
2. Finally tracked down some good quality seat belts. The center belts are NOS. The outside belts are used, in good shape. Very glad to have that taken care of. They work much better than the Chinese aftermarket crap is had in there to get us by in the meantime.
3. This weekend I tracked down a decent bed to replace the beat up, rusty bed that's on the truck now. The 'new-to-me' bed needs to have some minor rust repaired above the wheel wells but nothing major and everything is straight. I'll take pics of the process as I restore the bed and get it on the truck. I'm also going throw some white paint on it and undercoat it with POR 15. POR 15 will also go on the frame. I'm also going to be replacing the fuel pump and sending unit while the bed is off and I've got easy access.

Ordered POR15 tonight.

Tossing around the idea of taking this time to move up to the later style side moulding or sticking with the moulding that came on the 89. I like the later style better but this truck has been painted before and I’m not confident in the quality of the paint job. I’m worried it might open up a can of worms lol

I’m hoping to have something picture worthy again here soon
