New head unit installed. I'll do speakers tomorrow or later tonight. Nothing fancy but enough to do the job. If the boys want more than this as they get to driving age they can use their own money LOL

Problem with sand bags is the bags deteriorate then you got 250 lbs of sand just laying around and no bag. Makes a mess.

Go pick up some fat bishes at walmart for traction?

Crutchfield. I really like going with them because they also have all the accessories you need like harness adapters and stuff. For instance, I wanted to replace the dash speakers and they said those 4” speakers wound fit and told me I’d need adapter plates and harness adapters to make everything work without cutting or splicing anything. Everything for perfect and was super easy. These little 4” speakers should sound better than a 4x6 speaker so I’m pretty excited. Everything all together (head unit, speakers and needed accessories) were all less than $200 shipped to my door

@Old77 , thanks Jacob. I am gonna pass this info along to Kooper. Currently he is hauling a boom box around for his tunes!! LOL.....not a lot of room for the girl friend.....which isn't ALL bad??

I never knew you could drop in 4". I been pondering new speakers since i added the sub behind the seat. Does yours have rear cab speakers @Old77 ?

I don’t think so.

I had to stop myself before I started ordering a sub and going overboard. Had to remind myself this truck is for the boys to share and I don’t wanna make it too nice for them or they’ll not be motivated to get their own vehicle!!

I just bought a cheap $80 walmart 10" powered for behind my seat so i had thump.

I’d say these old tie rods and center link where passed their need for replacement lol

Thanks! Tomorrow I'll be driving her to work which will be the furthest she's been away from "home base" since I bought her and did all these repairs to her. **fingers crossed** lol
