Lol if my dodge was a 3/4 ton I would drag this thing to tx so you could have a better idea of what we're dealing with. Your not that far away, but my little half ton is doing good to town an empty trailer, much less a loaded one.

A carb adapter can often cause minor driveabilty issues, but usually nothing horrible. On a stock manifold, I've actually had good luck with the open adapters. Never run one on an aftermarket manifold before.

Any chance on getting a video of how the truck is running?

I can take a video tomorrow but these iPhones don't have very good audio. I will see what I can do though.

Here's your video. https://vimeo.com/114205825

The first time I cranked it and gave it no gas. The other times I had to hold the gas to the floor to start it and if I let off at all it died.

Just crazy. I drive this thing across town and put gas in it sunday. Ran fine except for the backfire with a load on 4th gear.

Yea it's a pretty good size cam. I texted my buddy and he doesn't have an adapter anymore. It's an edelbrock adapter. I guess k could order a different one to see if it helped. What's my other option, a new intake?

I could probably buy that holly truck avenger off that guy cheaper than I could buy a new intake. But I want to run my damn qjet.

Honestly the intake would better suit your engines need but that's up to you I'd get money back in the adapter you have as it's"defective" :) and either use that to get a taller/ better built one. Or intake.
