Take a pic of how you've got the adapter mounted by it self in the intake

The adapter is already off. Those studs slide up through the bottom of the adapter. Then you set the adapter on the intake. Then there are 4 flat head screw type bolts that go in the top of the adapter that bolt to the intake.

Idk where else I could have a leak. I have checked all my lines and all the way around the intake and haven't found one.

I'll tell you this is below the carb. That's why you can't set the idle screws. Because it's not pulling idle circuit in demand

I bet you a dollar to a donut my fuel pump is shot and dumping way to much fuel. That's why the Eddy started running so rich. That's why I keep flooding out and fouling plugs.

Got the holly on. No fire. Earned the plugs. Presto, were in business. Let it idle 10 minutes. Runs great. Rev it up a bit. Huge backfire. Kills it. Won't start. Pull a plug, fouled again. Put a test light on a plug wire and crank. No power coming out of the distributor.

I got a skip white dizzy in my 350. And my engine loves it.... bust right of first thing in the am and every time after. It's cheap and does just bit what every other one does :) tho you will need to limit the vac advance but that with any dizzy... can just run it full pull.

My starter is living on the ragged edge also, but the guy that brought me the carb also has a high torque mini starter he gave me. We're going to tow it to his shop up the street this weekend and see if we can get it fixed. It's a bitch working outside in this rainy 40 degree crap.
