And all of the plugs and power wire are snapped back into the cap?

I never unhooked them. There is a single red wire that plugs in next the the power harness that came unplugged. But it's plugged back in too. Rotor is sitting in the groove. Twists and springs back like it's supposed to. No fire. Actually tried so long I flooded it.

Ok so the three port connector is in the cap the same as it came out and the power wire is not connected to the tach prong?

I don't have a volt meter, but I have a good test light. I will check it at lunch. Maybe leaving the wire hooked up while removing the cap blew the fuse. We shall see.

Got it to fire at lunch, but couldn't keep it running because my throttle cable is broke. Ordered a new cable and bracket from summit. Hopefully will get those as well as the thick carb gasket and speedo cable installed next week.

No. It just fired. My throttle cable broke last night so I couldn't give it any gas to keep it running. I had to do some heavy mods to my cable bracket when I switched to a qjet, so I assume that's why it broke. Ordered an adjustable bracket and the only cable summit had for a k10. Just have to get it running before I can make it run better.

I bet your right. It would sure be nice to be able to find out. If I can get somebody to run the key for me tonight I can run the carb to get it started. if I can get it running I can go ahead and set the timing and then will just be waiting on the parts I ordered.

I tried to get it started tonight. No dice. It fired a couple times but never would start. I'm going to replace the parts I have coming and if I can't get it figured out after that I'm just going to put it on a trailer and take it to the shop. Iv spent $2000 on this thing in the last 60 days including the tires and I can't walk by it every day just sitting in the driveway.
