Hey bud if the t chain is worn it don't mean you have to replace the engine. If it come to it tho I would check the compression and if #s show to be low then get err rebuilt. If it's good go for it and throw a better can in that thing...

I know I don't have to replace it, but with the stupid body lift on it it's impossible to work with, so it's either pull the front clip or pull the motor. I guess I could just pull the clip and replace the chain and cam. Idk. I guess I will cross that bridge when I get there. Just so frustrated with it. The truck didn't cost much, but it drives me nuts to own something I can't use.

For a cam swap only the rad and condenser has to come out... maybe the core support.maybe. just saying

Hmm, I used to get that way often. At least to Ada. Also to Asher. I always go thru Madil etc going to Durant for Copart, but not in a roll back now, so I dobut I'll be that way near as often.

I didn't put the holly on it yet, but will in the next day or so. My buddy just pulled his motor yesterday and told me he would bring me the carb as soon as he took it off.

Carb is on its way back. When I put it on the first time, the fuel line fitting wouldn't tighten all the way so I put an o ring in it. When I tightened it down I guess I broke the o ring and a small piece got stuck in the needle/float. Mark got it all fixed up for me and I will have it back Wednesday to try it again.
