I was expecting it to be close to a th350. But I’ve got 3.73’s with 33 inch tires for now, I’m gonna go to 35’s someday as well so that’ll help

35s with 410s is not impressive off the line, I have them in my truck with a 350 and its better than it was with 33s and 342s but its still low performance. My plan was to swap to 33s when the 35s are worn out. Thats with the silly low gear in the 700r4 also.

I've got the 700r4 as of right now also, I was just going to swap a th350 in place before with another 208 I picked up. But now that ive got this combo, I really want to swap for this.

Then my good 208 can go into my 79 with the th350 in front of it, since I want to keep it mostly original but I want two wheel drive and im not wheeling or towing with it, its just gonna be a nice weekend cruiser and car show goer. The burban will be basically a daily and a wheeling rig so the 4 speed and the 205 are what I wanna go with now lol. I think ive got my plans all figured out, and its actually going to work out pretty well if I do say so myself lol

Got a complete cooler, partial net set, 2 gas caps and a cup holder plus found a set of stubby wrenches under the seat of an Aztek all for free.

Oddly enough, the Aztek I got all this from had an owner's manual envelope from the same dealer that sold mine new.

35s with 4.10s = not what most people want :imo:
Maybe somebody will chime in that runs 35s on 4.56 cuz i've always thought that would be pretty /win.

4.56 is a great gear, like 3.73 or 3.23.
I always thought 4.10 was kind of "meh" like 3.42 or 3.08.

Yea 308s are pretty lack luster... especially with a tired 350/th350

On a non-OD truck, 4.56's are awesome with tires in the 35" range. With OD, steeper gears would be even better.

Found a very nice (already pulled) passenger side vent window assembly for my 82 at a nearby junkyard a couple years ago. I had seen scary high prices on the web, so tried to act shocked when the guy quoted me $45 (as I recall). Ended up getting him to throw in a "10 Custom Deluxe" emblem! Also got a nice inner fender for $20.

He ended up selling the entire place to a developer, so those days are gone. But he had pretty much run out of pre-88 truck parts anyway.:(

Got a set of bumper guards for my 78 for free. Had to torch one bolt but that’s an easy fix. They need to be painted though, chrome is kind of rough.

Paint them white then to match the bumper? That should look awesome!

I had a few good scores from the Pull a Part today. I grabbed a headlight switch and taillight panel for my '97 Lumina (no pics). I found a gauge cluster and mint bench seat for the '81 C10.

I was so exited about the seat, I put it in when I got home!
