It came up somewhere on the forum this week, so I got pics.

This was from an 81..

Took me forever to figure out what kind of damned bulb that top one is. That's what is in my 84'. If you look up dome lights ANYWHERE, all they come up with is the 211-2 festoon bulb. I even tried early 70's GM cars/trucks, same deal, all festoon on the lookup, even at the bulb manufacturer's page (Sylvania).

That bulb is a #1004, btw.

I pulled 2 of these bulbs today. So I have spares now. I can not believe the price of bulbs and fuses these days. When at PAP, when I see bulb exposed, like lens covers removed already, I snag those bitches just for the parts drawers.

This stuff here was $15 after tax and a fuggin Enviro Fee? WTH? Enviro FEE????? First time I ever seen that. I didn't feel so bad about the few things that FELL into my box after I seen that. The gauges and gear indicator FELL into my tool box drawer. They do check the top of the box, but I guess they figure you can't get anything into the drawers. I was prepared to pay for them, but I was rushed thru the line, and the relays had fallen off the bracket. I was putting them back on and the guy pretty much looked thru the wagon and put everything I was getting up on the counter for me and charged me.

This stuff fell into the tool bag, as I was getting it out, he waved his hand like no biggie, so it was also "gimme" stuff. Must have been the Enviro fee stuff too. Maybe it does pay off to his the line about closing time when they are in a hurry to leave.

If Knew you wanted one of those reel lights I one too from a 88 C1500. I think I got the steering center cap too from a 90 C2500 truck.

HR, awesome freaking report! :waytogo: You actually found a console! :High 5: Funny you post about that reel light, I got to put that on my list. I was actually cutting a few harnesses out for that reel light on some trucks here because there is a plug in it I can use as a connector for any other wiring projects. Anytime I come across a water proof male to female connector I try to cut them out with some lead wires on them so I can uses them on wiring projects on the boat. :) I even was going through some Astro vans that have those type plugs in the right front fender for airbags. :D

Hell, I could use a reel light or 2 or 3 just on the boat!

Retro has a Reel Light he said I could have let him know about. I'm sure you and him are TIGHT like that. Hit him up.

I might go back today too. It's warm, and a new row of trucks is supposed to hit today. They emptied it out yesterday while I was there, they said about Noon, the row should be filled back up with new inventory. Sucks though, so short on fuggin cash. If I could buy something that would make money, I'd do it for sure.

Which PAP do you hit up? I used to go back in the day with my dad to one out there on the southwest side of the city if I remember the location correctly... Loved it... A lot of fun to just go explore and see what all's out there.

SE 15th and Santa Fe. Just East of Robinson, and Just North of SE 15th. Santa Fe is the Divider of SE and SW OKC. There used to be one on S. Eastern too. But they closed that one down and made this one bigger.

Looked it up on the map and location seems familiar... I was thinking Shields when I asked. :)

The two lots I know of down here in H-Town pale in comparison to what I remember that one to be from when I was younger.

It's not far off of Shields. I usually go up Shields to get there if I 35 has road construction going on, or it's rush hour traffic.

Naw, I think Retro is giving it to somebody. But I never thought to look for those so I am adding it to the list. :waytogo:

Like Slick said, it's fun just to go look around if you can't buy anything, lot to see and learn, especially if you got such a rolling inventory like you say. We had the same fuggin trucks here for a year and I am still trying to catch up. It is such an addiction...

Those reel lights are easy to find. A little secret, Most GMT400's have them OE. Same light as on the Squares, they are just rare on the Squares.

It's yours. :waytogo: I still have that electronic cluster for you too.

Awesome! Thanks man. Now to find a time to meet up that actually works for both of us, haha. :deal:

Yup, and as you saw I just started picking away at the GMT's too. Some have parts that are interchangeable on the later squares, that is one of them. :)

Hell, did the S-10's have them too? I can hit those up too.

No, but 1991-92 Olds Cutlass Supremes had the reel out lights with a mercury switch, 1988-90 Cutlass Supremes had the reel out lights with an on-off switch.
