Detroit 453 on ebay
Is it normal for someone to paint the belts on an engine? This looks like someone tossed the whole engine in a paint booth and went for it... Seems shady to me.
Was his name Bruce Fulper?
Hmm, appears to be one of those, "Rebuilt with a Paint Job" As in, The paint job made it rebuilt. Many years ago in So Cali, a guy who sold used engines ran an Ad like that. Got sued over it too and he won. He said he never claimed the engine was rebuilt, he said it was "Rebuilt with a Paint Job" and that was the company slogan, the main advertisements clearly states "We Sell Used Engines" and that we give a 10 day no hassle warranty and will exchange any defective motor for another motor.
That **** is funny. When my wife and I first started dating, she heard an ad on the radio for "The Most Versatile Clothes Hanger in the World," ......."You Can Place It Any Were You Want, On Any Wall,"....."It Can Hold Up To Twenty Pieces Of Clothing,"........for just 9.99, + 4.99 s+h so she bought two. She was pissed then she got them in the mail...............it was two Nails. She went to the District Attorney, and he said there was nothing he could do, because they didn't lie about the product, and they sent her something. She has never bought mail order again!
