I hate that the K5 Trailering Special didn't come with sway bars like the C30 TS.

Do you know what it did come with? I've seen the emblem on some 70's Burbs too. The trucks are fairly common.

It's nice, but nowhere near $30K nice. He'll have that one for awhile. JMO, looks to be about a $15K rig and even then would be a tough sell.

The price is high, but damn I like it. It's basically the same as mine except mine is total crap compared to the condition of that one. I'd bet the seller ends up getting 20K out of it. Being original makes it worth more than a similar K5 that has had a quality restoration.

Damn!

It's been so long since I've driven it, I can't remember if my 77's tach has the blue line. I think it does.

I was pretty sure he had the years wrong. But I didn't know what the correct years were, so I didn't mention anything about them.

Yeah, that won't even work for later years because there's no holes for the warning lamps.

A guy who is careful and talented with a Dremel tool, could cut the notches in for the lighting though. I'm pretty good with a Dremel. I cut my ingrown toenails out with a Dremel. Trust me, it's a delicate task but I don't have to pay Dr's to do the **** who kill me with 4 biggo fukin needles under my toenail. :flipthebird: Take me about 30 minutes and I waste usually 2-3 hours with drivetime to have the Dr do it.

Mine finally healed without any doctors.

Trust me, mine won't heal without some kind of attention. I've had this issue since 12yo. On both of my big toes, on both sides of my big toenails, they have to be cut about every 3-4 months. So this month, I'll do one side, next month another one etc, so it works out, 1 a month get cut.

I was doing that. I've had problems with them for over 15 years.

I can finally wear open toe heels again.

Our laser at work can take care of that...

I'll throw this out here I guess. I have been running through my head how I might be able to change our factory gauges to through the face lighting, instead of around the face lighting. Laser the numbers and hash marks and clear out anything that needs to be on the back side. It could be a cool custom look at night, yet factory appearing during the day.
