I have a neighbor that I'm certain just yanks his fenders off his truck and puts them back on just for the heck of it. It's not uncommon for me to drive by his house in the morning as they are taking it off and then come home later in the day as they are putting it back on. I want to stop by to ask them what in the world they are doing but I'd rather just stay ignorant about it so that I can make fun of them in my head!! :D I think he may just be making up "projects" to do so that he's not inside his house!! :D

sounds like me. As for the fender and subframe coming out, awesome, I'd do the same thing clean and paint it all.

I actually plan to yank my fenders this year and clean and paint everything around those areas on my 88 k1500.

Nope, I'd have to guess blown head gasket or cracked head is why it met its fate.

Or a hood missing a shaker scoop during a huge rain season
