Out with the bad and in with good! First rip down the highway at 75 was great. No vibe. It was a short run so I will get a better feel for it running it to work this week. So far I am thrilled.
So. how much did it cost you to be thrilled?

Next project is electric fans, I have been looking at Flexalite and Derale dual shrouded fans both pulling 4000 cfm or better. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Ok. I think I have this figured out. Going to use a dual fan set from a 98-02 V8 Camaro. Will order a fan tomorrow. As for the fan controller. I pulled the 2 speed dual fan harness out of a 05ish Silverado from a wrecking yard this afternoon. $20. Can’t build one for that.

Those are the go to for dual electric fans. Has all you need. I wanted all my relays and fuses in one box for my swap. If not that's what I would have used too.

This is awesome!! Definitely makes me want to get on with my swap (already have my 5.3 donor truck) but the additional costs are what is making me hold off smh. So far, I'll live through you haha

Drive shaft update. The new Tom Woods custom drive shaft works great. I can run the free way at 70+ with no issues. The overall driving characteristics are better. Should have started with Tom Woods. Bottom line, don’t cheap out on a drive shaft.

Had some time to work on the fan harness today. Adding two relays, one for AC trigger and one for low speed override. Fan ships tomorrow, hope it’s here for the weekend.
