Old77, just be careful and don't get any sicker!!! Get good for the holidays!!!!
Agreed! I'm at work today and I'm definitely not real peppy today but I do feel better than I did. Just drained with no energy. So it'll be slower going than normal but as long as I continue to make steady improvement throughout today and tomorrow morning I should be able to tackle it. Usually that job would take me about an hour. If it takes me 2 hours because I'm taking it easy it's all good. If for some reason it doesn't happen tomorrow morning because of how I feel it'll be the weekend and I should definitely be close to 100% by then.

The reason I'm trying to get this knocked out quickly is because it really hampers my defrost as well as getting heat into the cockpit of the car. This morning I had to have a towel with me to wipe down the inside of the windshield as I drove because without the the blower motor air isn't coming out of the vents fast enough to clear off the windshield on the cold mornings

Since I don't work tomorrow.....yes :slap: This time of year i get to work when it's dark and by the time I'm back home it's dark :( I like winter because I enjoy snow but I really hate the short daylight hours. By the time the winter months are over I usually have cabin fever really badly because I hate being cooped up inside LOL

So here's a list of things that I ordered from @RockAuto that is arriving yesterday and today.
Lift Supports (hood/trunk)...both hood and trunk will not stay up on their own
Spark Plugs....went with AC DELCO Iridium plugs
Blower Motor Resistor
Blower Motor
gas cap...current one is old and has a cracked/brittle seal
thermostat...car doesn't like to be above 170 and I'd rather it run at the OEM temp
6 AC DELCO oil filters...i change oil every 6 weeks or so due to the miles I drive so I find it easier to just keep filters in stock and buy them in bulk usually

On the list to buy ASAP is supercharger oil, coupler and possibly belts.

Replaced both the resistor and the blower motor and we're back up and going again.

I think next may be the blend door actuator. Probably next weekend will be oil change, spark plugs and supercharger oil change. Not too far down the line will be front wheel hubs to get the ABS light to turn off on my dash.

Overall she's driving well, though, and getting me 26 mpg which is good. :)

Between that, sick kids and a sick dog the last couple of weeks have been brutal to say the least but I told the wife I HAD to squeeze this in because it was dangerous to drive without a fan to work with the defrost on the winter mornings.

I THINK we're coming out on the other side of all the crap, though......I hope

@FlockofGorillas offered to send me all 3 volumes of service manuals for the Grand Prix and that arrived over the weekend :rocking: Very cool and will be very useful. I love having real service manuals for the vehicles I have so I was very happy to get them :)

Got this knocked out this morning. Definitely glad that @RetroC10Sport turned me on to the supercharger oil because what I pulled out of there had a brown color to it so it was definitely time to change it :)
