I had Max pull the kick panels out and sure enough they are Bose.
They wont stay Bose though as the head unit is already long gone.
I will repurpose them to hold other speakers.

I've been down that road, halfway. The passenger side is easy. The driver's side is tricky though, I never found a 3.5" or 4" speaker that was shallow enough. If you find something, please let me know.

Oh yeah, to disassemble them, you have to pull back some of the carpet covering. If you (or she) is careful with that step, the carpet cover can be glued back down without replacing it.

Cool first car. I bet there’s some tricks to removing plasti-dip online. Maybe one of those adhesive wheels might help, or maybe there’s some spray to get it to curl up without hurting the paint?

We did find this bolted to the bottom of the heater box cover, I wonder if it still works.
This car has been wired (poorly) for a full stereo system....

More work will be needed to remove it for testing of the amp.
If it works it will go back into the car in a far better location.

Woah! That's cool! I knew there was a Bose option but never know how extensive that system is

We have some Phuckin yikes stuff going on down here.

Magnaflow muffler doesn't really seem all that growly of a muffler, so I looked a bit deeper.
Been smashed a bit and I spy some booger welding...

Then I looked forward to the front.
Smash-o!
And they WTH is going on there?
Yup.
A soda'r can has been clamped on to cover some sort of hole thing.
We will get into that when we purchase a fresh exhaust set up for it....

This whole system seems to hang way to low, so we will see what we can do about getting it sucked up closer to the underside.

The dampness on the rear axel is extremely typical. It's just gear lube seeping through where the tubes are pressed into the center section.

Lol, see what I did there^^^

The 14" rallies look way better than those AutoZone hubcaps.
