Used some Corroseal on fame parts under the truck. I like this stuff. Instant black. No scraping and sanding. Too old for that crap now days.

Also mocked up one of the fenders trying to get some measurements. Think I may just level the back but hard to tell just yet. Want to go kind of old school with some 15" wheels and wider tires.

Installed the LMC in-bed spare tire carrier, easy 3 hole drilling and it appears to be secure enough to deter casual thieves.

I added my own lock and some longer stainless steel fasteners to suit my situation.

I like it but will probably rotate the lock bar 180 degrees so the flat side it up to shield the nut and threads from direct rain and snow. Probably only a minor, if any, difference.

And I like the look, ease of access, and ability to keep it clean!

Next project: auxiliary fuse block, in bed light, fog lights, and headlight relay upgrade. Should be fun.

Installed a new 3", all spring, Tuff Country lift with new shocks along with stainless braid brake hoses, master cylinder, calipers, rotors and pads over the weekend. Cleaned and re packed the wheel bearings. Installed new inner fender to frame rubber shields. The front sway bar isn't connected in the picture due to still fighting installing new bushings in the ends.
I also installed the new front and rear glass, still working on the side and vent windows.

Pretty tired after a family trip, so I decided to do something quick and fun today- put on the new center cap emblems for the rally wheels since the old originals were faded to complete silver. Nice to have little mini projects for when the energy level is low.

Cut off my tips and tucked up some turndowns to see how it could change the sound. A definite improvement
