Real old Ford wheels will fit older GMs. FoMoCo was the first of the big 3 to change lug patterns, maybe when the Superdoodys came out in 99?
GM changed in the last 10-15 years or so as well. I think GMT 800s were the last of 8x6.5 pattern. Had 17x8 Dodge wheels on our 02 Chevy in place of the pathetic narrow outdated 16x6.5" wide wheels they came with. GM center caps fit too.
And now Ram effed it up now recently and has a larger lug pattern on their duallys.
There may be 4 lug patterns now between 3 mfgs on new trucks.
Wow, that's crazy.

Well Im looking for wheels to fit chevys from 73-98 (squares and GMT400s), 2wd and 4wd.

Theres a bunch of late 80s early 90s square- bodied Ford F-2 and F-3shittys at my junkyard, that have some nice wheels with tires, I was thinking of buying, because I have 3- 8 lug trucks and about 7 mismatch chevy rims between them, and need wheels.

Just measure the lug pattern, or look up when Ferd switched, but pretty certain they'll fit.

Square body 8 lug wheels have a 6.5" bolt circle. Back then GM, Ford, and Dodge trucks all had this bolt pattern.
Ford F-250 trucks went to a 170mm bolt circle in 1999. F-350 trucks went to a 170mm in 2001. GM trucks switched to a 180mm
bolt circle in 2015. I don't think Dodge changed. I sorry "Ram" trucks are the same at least to 2021 according to my tire guide book.

Tried searching and can’t remember…is there a skinny 35 that’s good other than intercos? I’d like a 35” x 10.5-11” tire. I currently have 16x8 aluminum wheels. I’d be willing to consider going up to a 17 or 18. A skinny 35 on an 18 would likely be more stable at speed.

Those obs fords will work but they will be shaped different because of the rear axle on the ford needing more room for the wheel to fit over the shaft end. They also have different hub cap stuff on their design. be sure you are getting their steels, the aluminums were.. special

The F super duty at those earlier years must be avoided. 10 lug

Can anyone tell me what this wheel is off originally, and where I could possibly get one?
These are on my buddy's C20 service truck. He has 3, and really wanted a 4th, I'd love to find him one. They're kinda unique looking.

There’s that. They certainly won’t fit and could be confusing if someone can’t count past 8. But the real dead giveaway will be that they’re dually rims and the conversation appeared to center around srw trucks.

Taking a real hard look at the Halibrand's from Holley. Definitely the MAG7 finish and possibly with the polished lip. I think the MAG7 with it golden hue will compliment my trucks two tone brown. Alas, this is next year as winter is coming and all projects will be based on being accomplished in the garage over the next several months....

"Unfortunately, I have no idea what wheels are on my suburban and I haven't removed them yet. I got her with a mismatched set of tires and I'm due to get new tires

Wheels look to be American Racing. Not sure exactly what model.

Those look really cool, I just wish they offered them in more normal sizes. I know for most people 15s are out (not me of course), but there's nothing wrong with something like 17s. The fact that they are only available as 19s and 20s is annoying...

With the dark gray color, I definitely think the polished lip looks best. But with the gold color, I can't decide which looks best. I definitely like the gold instead of gray though.
