What did you have to do with 6 inch drop in rear? Remove bump stops or c notch?

Yeah, you have to at least remove the bump stops. Some trucks can get away without a notch at 6" and some need a notch. Won't know till ya try it

The kid bought one of these with his buddy.
It has not been used just yet, but will tell you what you want to know for size and backspace.
I like visual indicators for myself and this will be great when I need to do the figuring for my own cars.

I made my own out of aluminum angle and flat bar. Came in really handy and I got my wheel/tire fit right where I wanted it.

I really appreciate all the information. Ok, see if you think this will work. I already put 4 inch drop on rear with a bracket and shackle, if I removed the shackle and added a rear end flip, by my math, that should give me between 6 and 7 inch drop in rear. I believe the 275/60r15 tires would work then. What do you think and what would I need to do to bring front down? I have 3 inch drop spindles, I'm putting on now

Factory rear bracket and shackle should give you 6-7" drop with the flip kit. I used a 2.5" drop spindle along with a 2" drop spring in front. Turned out the aftermarket springs were weak and sacked the front end too far down. I added a 5/16" spring spacer to put the front end right and now the truck sits where I want it. If you have 3" drop spindles I would think a 1 to 1.5" drop spring will give you what you're after.

Here she is with 4 inch drop in rear and 3 inch drop spindles in the front. I was hoping the tires would be closer to fender. The back wheels are what I'm putting on the truck, I put 275/60r15 tires on them. The front tires are what were on truck when I got it which are 235/75r15. Not sure what size tire I should use to get closer to fender. Any suggestions?

255/70R15 is gonna give you the right stance IMO

Are you wanting your tire closer to the fender in front back or both?

Yes, I'm looking at a 265/75r15. It's a 30 inch tall tire
