Unfortunately that came at a massive cost that I really wasn't wanting to do but its done now so I should be good for quite a long time.

Master Booster = $152
Master Cylinder = $90
Proportioning Valve = $100
Brake Fluid = $30
Soft Lines = $60
2 hard lines = $15

Was not a cheap endeavor by any means. I still need to do 2 new flares plus some actual flare wrenchs.

Aint that always how it goes? I always figure if I'm doing something, best to do it right. Cheaper in the long run.

Replaced the alternator belt after it was discovered to be missing when my truck wouldnt start the other day.

Fixed the leak at the master cylinder today with a new fitting and a proper flare on the brake line.

But now I am going to have to get my brake booster fixed *sigh* because when I turn the truck off I can hear air escaping from behind it and the firewall

*sigh* Damn remans and will have to warranty it through Rock Auto.

Those 16.5s are hard to air down I'm gonna try running 20-25psi in new ones cause you can see the centers out farther than the sides

What I've done recently:

-front hub bearings (new bearing fell through old race...that bad!)
-ordered Moog ball joints and tie rods (didn't need ball joints, so i've got them for the future....$154 rockauto compare to $290 local (same part #'s))

-LED in dome light (amazon 2ea. for $10)
-left door switch ($9 Napa)
-replaced amp for JBL door speakers (left channel shorted out to chassis...hmm....is that smoke I smell? LOL)
-lights-on reminder buzzer ($4 and 5 minutes)
-Moog rear u-joints ($30)

Near future:
-front Moog u-joints
-Auto-dim w/compass & temp
-driver door hinge detent fix (only top half of spring/detent arm thing was there)

Wish list:
-5.3 fuel injection
-Get rid of those damn .308 gears! (what made GM think to put .308's w/700r4 and 31" tires....on a heavy arse 4x4....beyond me).

Between the frame flex support kit, shocks, tie-rods, the jeep steering shaft and the hub bearings.....damn thing feels like a Cadillac compared to how it was when I bought it.

I don't think 31" tall were factory? Mine were 235/75r15 which is only a 29" tire

Took the carb apart (again) and adjusted the float level and put the choke back on, correctly this time. Also cleaned up the cluster-f of vacuum lines. Need to double check the timing and pray it starts a couple more times yet. Once to use in family pictures and another to put it to sleep for the winter.
