Thanks. Sheet metal screws into the fender right below the hood channel and an L bracket with welded on nuts from the inner fender well to panels.

Got a new squarebody yesterday. The '90 4x4 left and an '88 3/4 ton took its place. Sweet to have nicer paint and a tailgate.

Thanks - the R20 reminds me a lot of what you've got, right down to the traditional hubcaps and rim. It looks nice and friendly but I'll probably pull them and preserve them, it will need tires soon anyway.

Yeah the 454 in my R20 was my first big block truck :) There's been a learning curve there for sure :) I love driving it, though, and it gets it's share of looks. Just don't see squares in good shape very often anymore up here where they throw salt for any reason they can find LOL

Rivnuts would make that install look even better.

I know that's true - I grew up in Iowa and the squares are gone. Very rare to see any around salt country.

Since I split my time between WI and Central IL, I'm screwed both places. You would think that salt spreading was going out of style the way they drop it here.

Won't be driving my square in the snow til I clean up/protect the frame a bit.
