It doesn't need to be chrome as I plan to paint the bumper with bedliner.

I cut out some plexiglass and with the intellicarve machine at school I carved a bowtie in the plexiglass and mounted on my 82 bumper turn signals.

I went and got some carb cleaner to clean the carb and noticed my dam electric choke was closed looked at the cap and its loose. So i moved It tighted it up took it for a run man what a difference that makes. I was running around with half my dam carb closed.

Changed out my spark plugs as they were well over due. Figured out where I was getting the faint burnt oil smell from. My drivers side valve cover is leaking. Going to replace that along with my breather and PCV this week. Hoping to go by my co workers this weekend so I can do an coolant change and swap out my thermostat and gasket.

Washed the winter off mine and vacuumed it out. Used it to tow the boat. Found out my cruise control works at least intermittently. Cruise worked while driving empty to get the boat. It didn't work later on that day. Thanks to the diagnostic info that 89S uploaded, I'll be checking out the system.

I bought my new tank and straps from them although I got a 20 gallon. They are nice pieces. Why not just get two 20 gallon tanks instead? The price difference isn't much. I got the Platinum Pro tank...

Received a binder from the PO yesterday with a listing of everything that has been done to the truck. One of the cooler items was the original build list from when the truck was purchased.

I would also get tanks for 87 instead of 84. Not much of a cost difference either but the 87 tanks are baffled 4 in tank electric fuel pump. In the event you convert to TBI, vortec or LS then you already have the right tanks.
