Ok so I got the engine and tranny installed and I was lining up the driveshaft to make sure I could use the old one. Length looks really close but cant say for sure because the yoke that was on the th350 is too small for the 4l80. Anyone know if I can just get a new yoke or do I need to get the whole driveshaft? I guess the question is "will a 4l80e yoke work with a driveshaft from a th350"?

The LSX Innovations plates move the engine forward like an inch, or 1.5. Then the 80E is 31 1/2 " long, a long TH350 is 30 5/8" . The yoke from a TH400 is longer I believe as well, so.. IN theory, yes you should be able to put your yoke on the driveshaft and rock and roll.

Now, that said, the keyboard warriors will tell you that you'll exceed the speed of the stock shaft, and die. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, but for me, locally, I can have a high speed balanced all new driveshaft for 300 bucks. SO your call.

Summit has all types of yokes and conversion u-joints. I recently went from a 700r4 to a th400 and that's where I found what I needed.

Engine and transmission are in. Transmission lines are run to a new transmission cooler. Shift linkage is "mocked up". Just have to put a little bend in the Lokar kit shaft. Fuel just need 2 hose ends to be cut to length and fittings installed to connect to the fuel sending unit.

yes they are. Got them locally at "Auto Masters" It's like having Summit 30 minutes from home.

Watch them closely, they are known for leaking, the newer two piece ones are alot better.

Looking for a radiator/fan combo recommendation. I'm not looking to spend 800 to a thousand, so should I be hunting ain a junkyard or are there new options in the 4-500 range that would work well?

Use the Spectre 454 radiator, and literally any Ford E-fan from the boneyard from 93 or so up.

Or, go more expensive, and get Tejas Steelworks pre-made shroud to run dual LS1 car fans.
