You're not pulling the pump halves apart. You're just pulling the puimp out, not disassembling it. Aligning pumps is easy as hell. You use a biggo hose clap, DONE.
As far as putting the pump back on, a good tip to the do that, is to use 2 pieces of all thread the same thread as the pump bolts, and use them as alignment pins to keep your gasket from moving.
I'd just take it somewhere and get it done. Noone is going to give you a warranty against leaks using your supplied parts, and they're going to make their money one way or another, either in parts and labor or just labor. If you're paying a shop to do it, just let them get their parts and saye you the hassle of maybe getting the wrong parts and the wait time.
