That's a shame about the rustproofing plugs in the jambs and on the doors.

I couldn't own it. I'd never drive it.

I'd only drive it to shows and cruises which would be a shame. I like having stuff I can drive and mod how I want to without ruining it. Definitely a BEAUTIFUL truck. Like a snap shot in time.

41 bids took it to $17,500 but reserve wasn't met. Beautiful truck, but for that kind of cash I expect air conditioning.

And OEM air at that, listed on the SPID, not some after thought hack job either. Pretty much a PS, PB, Auto trans, No frills truck. Not the Gold Mine he thinks it is IMO. All the ****** looking rust proof sprayed under it and in the wheel wells was a turn off to me too.

I may be an idiot but I wouldn't have any issue giving 20k for that if I had the disposable income and the space to properly house it

I prolly would to if it had AC, Tilt & Cruise. IN 76 PW and PL wasn't an option yet IIRC. 77 I think was first year for those. Oh and not have the ugly rust protection.

AC or not, I'd spend big bucks on it if I had it... but those freakin' yellow plugs and all those holes...

OK, so where is Jim? I hope he went to look at that 84 K20.. I know that can be a sweet truck. The guy is being deceiving by wetting it down to hide the paint fade, but the paint fade trick is on him. That brown can be become shiney again with some product and elbow grease. And for him, less emissions ******** to deal with.

So how does that work? Never seen it before.

Is it possible small holes were drilled, then rust proofing was injected or sprayed and then the yellow dots have a stem and plug the holes???

Yes, exactly. Usually those plugs are black and don't stand out as bad... and they also are usually in places on the door that you don't see from the inside when the door is closed.

And it's a scam too. I can't tell you how many cars have been "rustproofed" but they turn into rust buckets just like anything else. My '90 Burb is a perfect example.

Yep. Just a Gimmick. Just like Soil Shield in a Furniture Store. For only $150 on your $300 Soft, we can soil shield it for you to prevent any stains.
