Its a very easy cheap fix. So whoever is good at math. How many squarebody slamming doors can you fix with a 5 ft stick of pex for less than $3???

What??? Did you think this was a how to fix your door thread??? It wasn't. Its a test of your mathematical skills !!!

You can get 80 pieces.

With a two door, it would be 40 square bodies.

Four door, 20 square bodies, minus burbs apparently.....lol.

I didnt read all the posts but if someone hasnt said it yet ive always wrapped the striker with electrical tape. Works like a CHARM!!

You'll be amazed at how well it works. Do let us know if it works on the tailgate, ut its a different type latch so I think not.

Tailgate strikers still have the bushings on them... They are different than the door ones too.

The teacher should be giving you some extra credit for making good use of left over plumbing scraps. With all the scraps you can find on job sites, and cut them neatly enough, sell them on eBay as door striker bushings, $5.95 a set and $3 shipping.
