I will see if I can put my hands on a transmission jack and try to get it inside the frame. If not I will have to see what I can find. There is only one junkyard around here and you almost never see square bodies in there. I figured the aftermarket would be the best bet. You mentioned the stock parts are easier to find. Where? Forum members?

Do the middle two "tall" crossmembers fit with any trans, or are they trans specific?

They fit with any trans/t-case combo that used the tall style mount. The trick is, you have to find one from a K30 because they have less drop formed into them. I personally feel it would be simpler just to get a non-bent, short style crossmember.

Message forum classifieds are a good start, along with Craigslist, marketplace (for the Facebook folks) and similar. Finding one closer in location will save a bunch due to the high shipping rates these days.

they are adapter specific

I assume the RWD/4x4 crossmembers are different. Is that correct?

Got the crossmember raised up. It was a pain but looks much better.
