I only due just in case one has a deal on one and every once in a while you'll find one of the smaller dealers that is selling something at a pretty decent deal. But I don't pay attention to the large dealer ads. That's how we found our Burb and we got a really good deal on it but it was from a smaller dealership and not one of large one's asking for $10k MORE than what we paid this smaller dealer.

For some reason I had spare time on my hands so I started day dreaming about my future DD in a couple years after we've changed houses and stuff so I started poking around on Auto Trader :whymewhyme: I can tell I shoulda never done that! There was an 08 GMC Crew Cab on there for less than $20k but loaded up pretty well with about 35k miles on it. Makes me wanna go to the stealership today and sign for it! That's a pretty decent deal for what was originally about a 38k truck or maybe slightly more!!

Enjoy the links! The first one is the '08 I was talking about....

08 at Roberts GMC for <20k
here

07 for < 19k
here

05 with only 55k miles < 16k
here

Because I am pretty sure it wasn't offered on base models. Even GMCs.

really? I didn't think about that. I guess if I think back into my memory bank, though, they would have had that single headlight configuration, right? I didn't even think about that. You're probably right. Either it was wrecked and converted or just converted for the heck of it but on a truck like that most likely previously wrecked.
