Also known as a speed nut. They hold emblems and stuff on.

Oh OK, I know wth that is. I thought this thing actually cut threads in a bolt, not a plactic emblem.

Soft metal maybe, I know many emblems were soft pot metal.

Go or the Jeep dude, thats all my parents will drive is those Jeeps. They have a Cherokee exactly like that one in the picture and I love cruisin it around. They have great power and awesome fuel efficiency and great off road capability. The only downside is the cramped interior. The door holes are small and even with the seat all the way back you just feel confined.

WTH??? Never heard of a thread cutting nut??? Learn something new everyday I suppose.

Mostly used on plastic studs or pot metal studs. GM occasionally uses them of threaded studs too, for light duty applications.

Just shoot me now.

No doubt, If I had a $1000 spedable. I'd own it. I'd get him down to the $1000 and drive to Dallas with my trailer to get a K30 SRW Roller. Seems he wants $2000 with the new motor. I build my own motors, so he can keep that. I just want the frame, chassis, axles, Tcase and trans. To bad its a Turbo 400 and not a SM465, but still I'd settle for that. Anyone want to buy a cool dog?? Male Husky $500, Female Boxer $500???
