We all like laughs :)

Just be careful if you rob an Explorer, as some of them had a little 7.5 diff.

I've been away from them for too long, I don't remember. I think the 7.5 has a different shaped cover.

That was maybe a dumb question in my part. THE COVER YOU IDIOT (thinking aloud)
I know how to identify 10b, 12, 14sf, 14ff, 60,70, 44 etc etc etc, but not real keen on the Ford identifiers

The 8.8 cover is a bit more square in proportion.

Ah okay, of course I had to use the browser to view the pic. Tapatalk is JUNK. Ill have to remember that, but if wms is gonna change, may not be a prospect as of yet unless I'm gonna get negative offset wheels to make up the difference

Iirc, it will be only an inch or two narrower. Shouldn't hurt anything, or at the most, you have an excuse to custom make a pair of quality wheel adapters to make up the difference.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit if you did friend! If you can't laugh at yourself, you're just not real.

In regards to machining components up, the things Ive drawn up in cad myself and will machine out will save me literally 1,000's. The "big truck" parts are pricey if you buy from someone else I learned.
