May just be a shoe soaking up moisture and swelling? My 87 celebrity used to do that on the pass side rear wheel when it was wet out. Hit the brakes and that wheel would lock and squeal the tire. Idk why...

Funny that you chimed in with this. I worked at a big multi franchise dealer in the 80s. All the A bodies did that for as long as that body style lasted. You could reduce the symptom by baking the shoes a bit. A few consecutive stops from 60 MPH using only the parking brake would usually suffice.

Nice start. I'm kind of eyeing a mini lathe now days for similar projects. I know that is a slipper slope becomes next after that I'll be looking for an end mil, lol.

Thanks. This is the second one I have put together. I also run an RX can in my wife’s 15 Yukon. The DI engines need a can more than the earlier ones.

Had some time to kill this weekend and decided the 77 needed day time driving lights. At first I was going to install a set of LED lights out on the brush guard. The more I thought about it I didn’t want to add another set lights so I decided to wire up the low beams on a relay. Now the low beams are on a key on relay. So far good.

Cool look. Id add a medium size led bar to the bottom beam of the push bar where the mouting tabs stick up. Do those lights come on with the lows?

The flood lights actually come on with the high beams but can turn the off with a switch. A light bar may be in the near future.

Awesome setup. Did you customize that push bar too fit?

yes. It is actually for a latter square but I made it fit. Even cut the bumper in to 3 pieces and welded it all to the brush guard.
