May just be a shoe soaking up moisture and swelling? My 87 celebrity used to do that on the pass side rear wheel when it was wet out. Hit the brakes and that wheel would lock and squeal the tire. Idk why...
Funny that you chimed in with this. I worked at a big multi franchise dealer in the 80s. All the A bodies did that for as long as that body style lasted. You could reduce the symptom by baking the shoes a bit. A few consecutive stops from 60 MPH using only the parking brake would usually suffice.
