700R4 Information Thread

i spot a post 1990-1992 dipstick.
That could be retrofitted but it also could have come with a reman or a replacement 700r4 in the early 90s

The previous owner of my k5 said the owner before him owned a transmission shop so I’m sure my transmission has been replaced or rebuilt at least once. Everything is covered in nearly 40 years of oil and dirt, I haven’t been able to see a reman sticker.

Adding an external transmission oil cooler. I’ll run that along with the stock cooler/heater in the radiator.
