also so you are just looking for how to use your transfer case? if so then Im sure the visor was used and not the owners manual so people didnt have to "find out which" and then also they didnt have to go far for knowing as well. If so, you just learned. but If you misunderstood me and your trying to put a sticker on for the sake of being there, then hmm i can check my blue cab lol

also indirectly but your thing about hubs helped ne figure out this shaft for a d44 is for a ford, that is why it didnt work

@AuroraGirl You mentioning that they look like your warn hubs has me wondering now. It looks like there was some type of sticker on my hubs that has fallen off over the years. I know my RPO lane says it came with manual locking front hubs but I’m not so sure it was these exact ones. But yeah, I just want the label on the visor, I know how to use the 4x4 and all. Just think it’d be cool to try and make some labels for people on here

WARN hubs were factory used by GM after they stopped using dana axles and had the auto hubs. 82+

1982-87: Spicer hubs were no longer used, In these years GM was offering Auto locking hubs......and Warn manual hubs on its trucks.

I realize this thread is about the visor sticker...
but just saying,
I have drove GM and Ford, Dodge and Toyota 4x4s. Every one of them I shifted in and out 2x to 4x HIGH at any speed at all. Just take the torque off and pull that fricken lever. Only going into LOW you need to stop and neutral for auto or clutch in for standard.
In the winter, bad highway, I'm in and out of 4H all the time. Logging roads, at the apex of a switchback (unless goopy or snow) I pull
back into 2x to save driveline windup.
And to be clear, all these units had a shifter connected to the TC, not a push or twist button.

Even my Astro Van AWD I was in and out where ever and when ever needed, no drama.

Just wanted to share how a shiftpro shifts a TC, since the mid 70's.

that helps a lot. so we can rest assured knowing that the WARN hubs I have, you have but the tag was gone, and that the literature suggested, as well as the process and where applied, we now know more collectively.

BIG BRAIN TIME AND YAY
