I did an LS and 4L60e swap on my 4x4 K5 Blazer. I use a Holly terminator ECU. TC was a NP203 and I changed it out for a NP208. The NP208 and 4L60E is a nice option but creates problems as well. First I needed to install a VSS. I did install the Walter Engineering. I found Walter Engineering VSS problematic. First the signal was very weak and would only start working after I was going 20mph+. I needed to get the speed sensor closer to the reluctor wheel, so I sanded down the speed sensor holder to get it to sit closer to the reluctor wheel. It works better, now starts picking up vehicle speed around 4-5 mph but I would say's it's not perfect. Also where the VSS fits into the case is leaking oil and I need to figure out how to stop the leak. Possibly use some RTV where the o-ring seals in the case. Second issue, I am using a Dakota Digital gauge cluster. I wanted to use the factory gear selector that attached to the steering wheel, swapped it out for a 4 speed automatic instead of a 3 speed. The shift points will not line up correctly on the shift indicator. Tried several adjustments but can't get it to line up correctly on all the shift points. Probably going to install the Dakota Digital transmission selector but I really wanted to keep the stock look and feel of the original gear selector. Third issue, I am running 33" tires, my stock gear ratio was 3.07. Changed my gear ratio to 4.56.

Did you replace the gate?
You must be registered for see images attach

Also you may want to consider trying to convert to a .90+,..? somewhere in there, shifter cable. Since the rods of the column are sensitive to drivetrain movement and a cable would allow full movement under more conditions. Only thing is, idk how feasible it is to convert the column to that, or what year parts would be needed.

But using the correct gate with the 4 speed indicator should allow your indicator to read right. You got a 700r4 indicator from a 80s truck right?

How do you illuminate your indicator with a dakota cluster? does it have a light to shine on it?
ANd do NOT use RTV on an o ring sealed connection. Either the vss is the wrong diameter so its not cooperating, or the o ring isnt the right thickness for the bore, or the bore is damaged and its creating a path past the o ring. Iirc, the bore on the VSS should have an o ring that seals half way or so into the opening , so that you would install it with a little ATF on the o ring to lubricate and it would be tight, and a hold down bolt would keep it in the bore.

How does your computer manage when you use your np208? 4lo is pretty darn low , and that could cause some fueling/shifting problems where your transmission attempts to upshift while your barely moving and in high torque situation (bad)

I felt there were to many variables to get the stock gear skeleton to

I felt there were too many variables to get the stock gear selector to work properly so I am going to install Dakota Digital GSS-3000 Universal Sender Unit for Gear Shift Position Indicator. The gear position will be seen on the gear cluster. It's not my first choice but I feel it's going to work properly. I don't know how the Terminator manages the NP208 in 4Lo. This has been discussed on other forums but really not an issue for me, since my Blazer will probably never be driven in the dirt and probably never in 4 wheel drive.
