I'm actually going to buy all new sockets all the way around. I'm also debating whether or not to go with LED lights all the way around as wellDefinitely keep your turn signal and marker light sockets. Painless doesn't have those in the kit. I also reused my original headlight connector. The painless connector leaves part of the headlight terminals exposed. You will also need your entire tail light harness. Hopefully it's not hacked up too bad. Funny, your harness looks a lot like my old harness! Sad thing is I'm the one who did it. Back in my younger, dumber days when there was no internet to scold me.
I am not. I have not interest in cruise control. Why do you askThat's the best thing to do. Are you going to keep the cruise control?
Here's a few pics, I took that area apart just now. Let me know if you want anymoreI'm trying to install the cruise back into my truck and can't figure out where the vacuum release mounts to the brake assembly. Hoping you will have a picture of that area when you take the harness out from under the dash. Info on the 1970's cruise is hard to find
I don't... The line wasnt plugged into anything under the dash, just hanging loose. Do you need the harness? That cruise harness looks like it's in great shape. Only see the plastic connector for the transducer is missing. You should hang on to that harness, it's probably worth some cash. That last picture helped me some, do you have any showing where that vacuum hose plugged into under the dash?
