Good thing I did because it made the intermittent dying noise stop. So that was nice. o_O

I got a set of new doors off of a '73 for $75.

I might embrace the wood grain, and paint the rest of the truck to match these doors.

Also, I bet some of that chrome molding would throw off all the bad bodywork.

Yep, I was gonna say that's not the right T case if that's an 80
Could you go to my forum on the subject, discussing some mounts and other issues I think it may have caused? Should be under trans and driveline

Not my square, but I just got my '51 Studebaker running off of it's own fuel system and 35 year old gas!!!

I could have drained the tank (there's a drain plug, but I was intriuged when the pump actually pulled this ancient fuel all the way up to the carb, so I tried to run with it. They really did make gas better back then.

Got busy and stripped down the parts truck this weekend. Cab is ready to be prepped, need to cut and transfer removable hump in trans tunnel and one dent repair area. Got a good set of rear springs withe extra overload, awesome running 454 that after brief rookie has been out before, makes me wonder what they may have done to it since eldebrock intake on it. Also had some weird looking manifolds with smog ports welded up and looks like accordion in the middle.

Patched the broken vacuum line for the climate control system. No vacuum means everything goes to the floor. New A/C compressor should show up today and then I'm handing the truck off for a 134 conversion. Wish me luck.

This past weekend I finally fixed the rust problem where I pulled out my drivers side seat belt! Welded in some thicker steel to the cab mount, and welded in my typical sheet metal for the floor area. Now I just need to drill a hole and re-mount my seatbelt.

AND....here is the exciting part: I picked up a parts truck for my OldBlue!!!! I needed a grill, bezels, and many other misc parts. This truck has it all. A few things this truck has blew me away...

You wanna know too? Check out my build thread. Lots of pictures I am posting...

Melted off again eh? How many times now?? Is it over/under how many times @78C10BigTen has left his lights on and needed a jump?

Don't think I've ever had a car that didn't have the mirror mounted to the glass.
