X2 about taking it to a glass shop. They generally have way more gooder adhesives, lol.

I've been driving my Burb around with no rear view for about a year or so... ever since I changed the windshield. You don't miss it much when you regularly drive a bunch of work trucks with side mirrors only.

LOL - Red Green. :)

I think this is the stuff I used this time - comes with a cleaner pad. Scraped the metal button with a retractable putty knife as well as the windshield then followed the directions. Says to use the cleaner on the windshield and the button - I think I did the button 1st - then let it sit for a minute to dry before gluing.

Pressure on the button after gluing for 1 minute, and leave it along for a half hour.

I left it alone for about 45 minutes.

Time will tell.

$3.99 at OReallys :flame: but I did not pay shipping … :D

*Edit* Thought it said $ 2.99 on Amazon - now, I do not see that. meh.
I used the same one. Worked very well!!

Changed the driver's side wheel cylinder as soon as I got home from work.

Doesn't take long to get drenched in sweat...

Seems like maybe it brakes straighter in a hard stop, but that was playing around at 30 and under and not completely going crazy with pedal pressure.

More testing tomorrow.

I'll post this here if y'all wanna move it to put that square to work(I can't find it)won't bother me.

So I've been wanting to get rid of these big ass Sega palms on the side of the house for years now. So I trimmed all the little green branches off them to just leave the middle stalk.

Then tied off the tow strap and hooked it to holes in the bumper.

That BBC pulled those fuckers right out with little effort. The middle one snapped as its angled toward the truck but, I'll get him out.

Ol girl started heating up without the fan shroud on it. Got up to about 210 so I gave her a break for today. She did good for me tho.

It's been raining for the last four days so thought it was a good time to jerk them son of a bitches outta there.

Those BFG's were cracked. Had plenty of tread but not highway worthy. Also, I think I have 3.73 gears. It was a back and forth but I figured it would be wiser to go with 33's. Wanted to save the freshly rebuilt trans a struggle on the hills.

I actually like it on the 33's. Feels more stable and less stressed.

I still drop it in Drive when I am going up grades but yes, it just pulls up a whole lot better now. I got into the habit of using drive on hills in my G20 work van (sold yesterday) and my gm400 suburban (sold a couple months ago) - both 95's - and then shifting back into Overdrive when on flatter land. Had both trucks for years and no problems with the trans (700R4).

That was one great running burb...

Look at the square in driveway. On it's way to becoming my daily driver!

I also run 33s on my burb with 3.73 and 700r4 (a 1990 v1500). I dont think I would want to go bigger without a regear.

Getting off at 330 gave me a chance to go get it inspected. No parking brake work. Still passed, didnt even check it. So I'll go get plates and registration after work tomorrow. Then I'm legal to drive it. Had it a little over 2 years now.

Happy day. :banana-mario:
