Perfect! I’ll check it out. That’s a better price than anything LMC would have- they have good stuff but their shipping kills me as well.

I looked still $349 + shipping. Vinyl wrapped one. They only show 3 colors but dark blue is one of them.

I said the film was on the bezel, I meant to say the aluminum front bezel "trim".
I cleaned the (black) bezel, then sprayed it semi-gloss Rustoleum then clear.
I used a "Molotow Liquid Chrome" pen to carefully repaint the silver rings around the gauges and "Lights" letters.

Oh wow! I thought it was all new bezel not just the face. Very nice work restoring it!

Are those the Level 7 billet mounts? I've got a set I need to put on mine, just been procrastinating but mine are original too so I need to do it sooner than later lol

winter project complete!!, got the last of the interior plastic painted and ready to re install this spring!! It should look pretty good all installed!

Finally got the window and regulator back in the 79. Just with a new motor for now, with everything lubed and the new motor it works really good. The coil spring on the regulator is pretty rough but it also hasn't been used in five years lol. The new side makes the old side seem really slow and rough, because it is. But it still works.

Im trying to keep this truck mostly the way it is for as long as I can, while slowly rebuilding it mechanically with time. I want it to be how my grandpa had it, before I need to get into paint and body in the distant future to deal with rust and dents.

The paint wear makes this truck a lot more special. Don't mind my dumb teenage mistakes, thinking I could just throw a speaker in the door panel. The panel is beyond saving, the texture is gone in a lot of spots, so I'm not too mad at myself.

yup thats the plan,truck is outside and don't want a lake in the shop with all the melted snow ,so I will wait a while
