Got my truck down for paint and 5 spd swap. Original 4 headlight support has seen better days. Have a good single light support from a 85. Will be getting buckets, lights and trim new. Question is will the grills interchange? Anything else i'll need? Thanks

Depends on your perception of cheap. Amd over 300 plus shipping by truck. Some on ebay for around 200 but who knows the quality and most add shipping(180 +/-) Swapping it isn't set in stone. Just weighing the options.

Front harness will be different. Grilles do physically interchange, however your 4 headlight grill has provisions for mounting your running lights/turn signals in it. Single headlight trucks don't have those, the marker/turns are under the headlights. Not an issue going dual to single but is the other way. Personally, I'd keep the 4 headlights. Maybe shop around locally to see if you can find a 4 headlight truck being parted out.

True, but little more too it if going to a 70s front clip.

73-80 front clip swaps are not worthwhile, unless you have complete donor truck to get all of the parts from. For 81+, single headlight, dual headlight and the wacky looking post '89 stacked headlights that many people are obsessed with swapping onto older trucks for some odd reason are all a matter of just core support changes and slightly different wiring.
