Sudden odd electrical issue

So randomly one day my done light stopped working... no big deal, then today i close the door and the dome light pops on... wtf?! Then after work i plug my phone in the cig lighter and thats not working now. Also the dash clock stopped working also. I check all fuses and all are good. So anyone know why the dome light comes on with door closed but the floor lights go out as theyre supposed to? And why my cig lighter woulda just quit?

It has to be in a way because door open the lights off, door closed its on.... its just working backwards lol funny that pic looks exactly like my truck too lol

Does the lighter work?

Oh wait, you already said no. Replace the lighter fuse (@$$uming it's blown) and it will fix the dome light working backwards.

All the fuses are good, i checked

It's definitely related to the lighter circuit. It happened to me every time I popped the lighter fuse.

Well if the light is coming on when the plunger is depressed it might not be working correctly. I want to say the light and the cig lighter are on the same always hot circuit but I'm not 100% sure.

It has to be in a way because door open the lights off, door closed its on.... its just working backwards lol funny that pic looks exactly like my truck too lol

Haha, ignore the dirt.
The sole purpose of that plunger on mine is to make the ignition buzz if you leave the key in it.

Because of the 1050 CA napa legend battery thats in it... thats why! That battery is like 7 years old and ctanks that truck up in 2 cranks. Ill never buy another battery.
