Nice work!
Looks awesome, what kind of wood did you use?.
Thanks, I may do something similar in my pickup.
I love it! The thing I cared about most was bluetooth so that I could just play music from my phone and having the CD player is fine since I still have several CDs rolling around. I don't have an Android device but it does well over the bluetooth from my iPhone with no issues.
This model is now "older" with the newer models out. I believe the newer versions are being advertised and supporting Spotify, AppRadio and some of those newer streaming services so that's pretty cool. This is the 5th or 6th Pioneer that I've had in the last 5 years and I've liked all of them. Perform well, are reasonably priced and not hard to install.
I just put a Pioneer AVH-X2800BS in my Envoy. It's really great not just having Bluetooth audio but full control over playlists, etc. for Spotify through the head unit. That said, double-DIN won't work in a square body :'( Guess I'll go with a Pioneer DEH-X6800BT because it claims Spotify/Android support over Bluetooth, and it's cheap. For your wiring, did you find a harness (it seems crutchfields doesn't carry it), or wire it straight in?
I decided to do this write up because many said that you could not put speakers in doors with power windows. Well, you most definitely can and can make it look good!!
First, here is what I put in...
1. Radio: Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS
2: Component speakers: JL Audio C2-650 (2 sets)
3. Amps: JL Audio 300/4v2 (for the component speakers) and HD750/1 (for the subs)
4. Subs: two JL Audio 10" subs in JL enclosures (don't remember exact model numbers
Previous owner had already hacked the dash so I just went with another head unit that'd fit the spot. When they did that they also broke the trim a little bit which you can see on the right. So at some point I need to replace my dash bezel

I didn't see the need to take pics of both doors or both sides in rear cuz they look the same but they are there

That's one hell of a good job bro, especially those kick panels.
you're welcome man@Old77... Making me think about putting better tunes in my truck. Thanks, my budget hates you! Great job, btw.
Ya we need more details on the door part man. Some of us might wanna copy you....
