It would be pretty easy to adapt the current defrost. The passenger side has all the room in the world. And if you’re the type of guy who wouldn’t mind a gmt400 dash, you probably wouldn’t mind cutting a duct into the top left idiot light/gauge pod.

Wasn't super worried about the passenger side. By cluster is all gauges no idiot light.

Nothing. And I mean NOTHING, as far as the driver OR passenger is concerned was considered by GM in the design OR layout of the dash.

Damn college boys. And yes, I DO mean boys.

Change my mind. A$$holes.

You get to stretch out your shoulder and arm trying to adjust the radio. That's a win I think. Like yoga or some ****.

Oh, lol...I figured you’d be the most concerned with the side you can’t reach with a towel.

Gauge or idiot light, you can still pull it and put a duct in its place.

I had to drive in a thunderstorm with no defrost and I was able to keep it defrosted pretty well with the vent window opened a bit.

I did give up on it when I couldn't see because of the volume of rain and the darkness. It was Illinois rain. Very ******. I would have definitely done the blow dryer thing.

And the left A/C vent blows cold air on your beanbag in the summertime. Leaves you with a nice cool feeling when you step out into the heat.

I was reading a thread on reddit the other day and a fellow confessed to being an automotive engineer. I told him that now I had a name to go with my cussing of engineers and when his ears caught fire he would know I was working on something. LOL

I guess I just don't expect much? I've never once wished for a better defogger in my trucks. My side windows have always defogged fairly well. When driving on snowy days, the driver window might fog up a little, but I just raise my arm up off the armrest and then wipe my coat sleeve down the window. It works fine.

And this morning, there was a heavy coat of dew/frost on all the windows. I fired up the truck, sprayed the washers untill the wipers cleaned off the windshield enough to see, then drove away. A couple miles down the road, the defog had the windshield and side glass cleared off.

Also, the dashboard is one of my favorite parts about these trucks.

My windshield defogs/defrosts fairly quickly. I have no concerns with that. My side windows tho get horribly clouded with fog. I have to crack the windows to keep some degree of clearity. Rainy nights get sketchy trying to use my side mirrors.
