Looks HEAVY.......did you lift it in there?....back OK?
Funny thing is, this one was WAY lighter than the last one lol. It was definitely a little awkward getting that one in the back of a suburban, this one is super heavy. But my back survived!

Earlier this year, while i was junk yarding i came across a chevy van, like G series i guess? But a "square" van nonetheless.

In the back i found a holley 750 single sided carb, some sort of sbc intake, but most importantly, a furd 9" housing with a centersection!

I ran the numbers, i believe it was a 78' model.

I just took it up to the counter kinda playing it dumb to see what i could get it for, and i scored it for 150$. No shafts, outer hubs, etc.
I felt like that was a steal considering a 9" housing goes for 3-400$ at most swap meets ...... i figure if i ever blow the rear end in my 79 c10, i'll build a hellacious 9" rear end out of it.

Had a pic of it in the back seat of my lumina, but that pic is long gone sadly !

Did the Lumina meet with a mower accident as well?
Kinda, but much bigger

Bigger grindy wheels....
I posted in my lumina thread in "other vehicles" but i dont think that entire sub category appears in recent posts for most people.

Its a problem i reported like, 2 years ago.

The lumina's fate was the crusher

Got a seat and a couple of bumpers. For the tow pig. Cleaned up decent! It's a shame the bottom is rough. I'll probably just put a saddle blanket on the bottom and let the top ride for awhile, then I'll full seat cover someday. Unfortunately this one doesn't let the back fold, that's okay though.

I'm on a roll with these seats! I love these old patterns lol. Useable ones are getting nearly impossible to find for cheap. This one is in overall great shape other than a little foam and the cover.

I'll just take this thread right over lol. $100 shame it had that one big smack in the middle, I bet it was perfectly straight before that. Also nice rust spot, another reason I don't like the trim! Was still on the truck, opened up perfect.

I was at the yards looking for parts on my 2004 yukon and saw what looked to be a ~90 model Suburban. Entire front end, dash, front seats, and doors were gone, but the rest was there, nice and tidy. I grabbed the 3rd row seat and belts for $100. Grey cloth was great condition, just doesn't match the blue vinyl in mine, but much much better than the nothing I have right now. I'm going to try to go back and get the 2nd row shoulder belts to add to mine. If I had time, I'd get all of the interior trim and carpet, as mine is basically bare for the 2nd and 3rd rows...
