I am confident whoever wrote that one off did not know what they had. It was clean.

I grabbed the rear end to use for my 67 camaro and then due to various misadventures have lost it.

longer version:
Bought a direct bolt in 8.5 instead, sold the zr2 axle and then found that 8.5 was really 8.2 and dumped that one because it is 8.2. Now I am back to where I started with no 8.5 axle to go in the car

The front floating 2-piston calipers are probably an easy sale too.

Did not think much of the front calipers. Kicked my self for trusting the seller on the 8.2 diff and not taking a closer look at it. Was in a hurry, so just loaded it and it stayed in the back until the zr2 axle went away as I had no space. Once I got it out, quickly realized that it was 8.2. Seller kicked some money back for it being wrong, but that zr2 axle is still gone and I don't have 8.5 again

A bench seat (recovered since then), window crank handles, and sun visors (repainted since then).

So riding down the road today I spied a square on the back of a wrecker heading to the junk yard. I called the yard and told them not to crush it before I got there and the guy just laughed and said o.k. It looked a lot better going down the road at 60, but I got a oem tailgate with one dent that some one allready loved up the latch mech and handle! Major score 60.00 currently my puter is refusing to recognize my sd card, so no pics.

I took a mental health day from the office last Friday and we went to the junkyard.

We found a fresh 1988 3/4 ton truck with a big block that had yet to be molested.
So we dove in.

If it had the TBI to Q-jet spacer, those can be worth a bit to some.

The more you look at it, the better it gets...
As seen in the junkyard the other day.

A practically new Civic went past my house earlier and I can guarantee by the noises coming from it, the rotors look just like that. Cringeworthy noises every time she hit the brakes.

Went today to look at a new arrival 87. I got the drivers side filler neck I needed(now need a passenger side) and the seat belt retractors with brackets. Mine I'm pretty sure are missing the brackets. The truck was pretty gone but some pieces left. Here are a few pics of someone sees something. The mirrors looked pretty good and the hood was mint. Motor still has TBI stuff on it and it's a 350

I pull filler necks off all the trucks I strip. They are a good selling part around here in PA.

Neighbor came over yesterday, was on a job and customer asked what kind of truck he had, said a Dodge. Customer said he had some Chevy squarebody parts he didn’t want any more. Neighbor said he knew someone that could use them. Pair of free patch panels

But what I bought for me was a set of small block valve covers.
They were in a small block converted 1985 Jaguar.
Somebody pulled them off the engine and just laid them there....
$12 whole dollars for the pair.
Just need some cleaning.
