Was hoping to catch you at Twin Peaks yesterday, but I totally thought it was on Thursday until I talked to Frank. Got there about 7:30 and checked it out, definitely some nice rides. I'll catch you another time out there.

Yeah, I was a bit under the weather. I'll try to get out there next week. I did see from my friend Vickye's pics that the K30 showed up.

Man Viktor, that thing looks like a hot mess. Corvette intake, hacked wiring, doesn't look like any of the vacuum lines are hooked up, fuel hoses that aren't rated for MPFI pressure nor the clamps and God knows what else!

The wiring wasn't all that hard, I used the Firebird engine harness basically untouched except for the C207 and C221 connectors and removed all the engine wiring from the Sierra underhood harness and tied that in to the Firebird harness, had to splice about 5 wires is all in that.

Going to make a junkyard run tomorrow for e-fans, some replacement connectors, some little pieces needed to finish and I'm doing things a little differently than most, I am moving the battery to the driver's side and using the Firebird air intake pieces. Plus people don't think to make the holes bigger in the TPI's cable bracket like I am doing and I'll be able to use my GMT-800 cruise control cable and my original throttle cable is plenty long enough without having to use an F-body cable.

That truck is a mess. Kid works at a restoration shop and i guess it was his first swap. I just needed couple more pieces to make the swap in the 67 look better. For the harness, i am planning to use the body side of the f body connectors to then splice in to 67 wiring. Want to keep the firebird engine harness complete as it came out of my 89. Or use the painless that the truck has. Kicking my self now for selling the tbi parts. Could just place them on the truck and kick back out to the curb.

But back to your truck, the tpi will look right at home in that engine bay. What did you decide to do for fuel lines? I was thinking of just converting to -an fittings and go from there.

I hope he isn't that shoddy with customer's cars!

I actually worked on the fuel lines tonight. I am using the original braided lines to the TPI and they will be mounted to the frame and run down to the original hard lines which will be extended using FI hose and the correct clamps. I need to pull the bed and put in the fuel pump next week. I was hoping to have this done by today but not happening, hopefully I will be taking it to Top Notch August cruise in.
