This is my first post. So I'm not sure if this is the right spot. I think my power steering pump is going. It's making a loud whiny sound. I have a hydro boost. Just curious how I get the pump out? I heard that they're separate from the tank. Any help is much appreciated

They're not all separate. I have both versions from 85. The remote is off a diesel. Have you verified it has the correct fluid level? Low fluid will make it squeal like a pig in Arkansas.

Yes fluid is topped up. A buddy just said maybe bleed the system in case air is in their the hydroboost systems are notorious for that.
