305 to 400 Swap

I just purchased an 81 short bed with a 305. I have a fully built 400 and TH400 Transmission. New to this, so I am looking for any "do this" and "do not do this" advice for the project. Thanks

That will be a great swap and not real difficult. Should bolt in with all the engine mounts and accessories from the 305,you'll probably have to move the transmission crossmember,not hard at all. Biggest obstacle,which actually isn't a big obstacle is going to be driveshaft length.
