Dammit you guys!!! There is a cherry s10 that I have been lusting after setting in the same place for ages. Body exterior is excellent, now I need to go check it out. Hood is off, so engine may be bad, but I puller the circle track motor out of New Blue when I swapped in the 454, just laying around in the shop takin up space. Dreaming of the drag strip, and bustin' ponies....

Replaced the blower motor today. Going to have to extend the power wire by a couple of inches due to some slight differences between the OEM blower motor and the new one.

Tonight I'll be throwing on rear shocks.

Tomorrow I'll start working on the heater core.

Wednesday afternoon Ryan and I are going to look at bleeding the slave cylinder one more time before we decide to tear into it further after Christmas is passed us .....fingers crossed.

Front shocks should arrive this week and I'll throw those in as soon as they're here. Also have spark plugs and O2 sensor to throw in. My hope is that all that is complete before Christmas and all we have to worry about after Christmas is the clutch issue if the last ditch effort on Wednesday is not successful for some reason.

Got the wire to the blower motor extended during lunch today. Tonight I'll either start in on the heater core or tackle the spark plugs. It all depends on how motivated I feel and if I want to do an easy job or a frustrating job LOL

Agreed. The heater core in this should be straightforward as far as steps needed to accomplish it but will still require an abundance of patience. We'll see where my mindset is after the work day is complete LOL

Just submitted an order to LMC for floor pans, body mounts and bushings. That’ll be a project for January.

Just picked this little guy up today for pretty cheap. End game is a truck for my kid's to beat around town in when they get to that age and learn how to drive a stick on.

General Specs: 2.5L 4 cyl, 5 speed, no options other than carpet, cloth seat and sliding rear window

Issues that need addressed ASAP:
1. Clutch (will get her into the shop within the next week or so)
2. Heater Core (part ordered)
3. Shocks all four corners (parts ordered)
4. Blower motor (part ordered)
5. Hood release cable (part ordered) I have to really do some magic to get that hood open

Other things that need attention but aren't as urgent are hinge pins, turn signals,.....air fresheners? :happy175:

Anyhoot, wanted to share. I'll keep this thread updated as me and the kids tinker on her. Once I get her up to snuff I'll DD her for a while. Just want to make sure she's 100% mechanically before I have kids depending on it to get them places :)
