found a non a/c blower housing, heater box, control unit and under dash wiring harness for $50. let you know how it goes. won't start till after next weekend.

**** man, good find. I might look around at pull a part in the fall and see if there is anything I can find like that. I would like to change my controls and heaber box to all non a/c.

I think my problem then would be though , is the fresh air vent/vents. Non a/c trucks, aren't they on both kick panels with the handle you pull to open the doors?

passenger side pull vent. not on driver side, i don't think. vent door and trim piece are the same. just need rod and knob to convert to manual. and the circular shield comes off too.

as far as a heater core, i need to find out if a/c one is a heavier duty unit. might keep that. heater hose holes might be different through the firewall.

These are mine I put in last week. If you notice the right panel has a chrome plug and shaft tunnel for a pull handle, also the door is attatched to the panel itself.

thanks. the white cab is from calgary. besides needing rockers there is no major rust on it. black truck body was completely rotten. will get more pics through winter as i work on cab and non a/c conversion.

tremclad. one heavy coat and one light coat. pretty happy with it. knocked off scaling rust and lightly wire wheeled the frame. i found if the metal is perfectly clean, the paint didn't adhere as well.
