High five for you, looks good. if you were to run a stock air cleaner I may just bust a nut. I am doing something similar with my build.

Just got done placing an order for my 350

-Mallory 85 Series HEI Distributor
-Holley 4160 600CFM Carb (getting rid of that Eddy Performer 600)
-Mallory Spirl Core Plug Wires

all of my ignition is stock so that ignition and better carb should boost performance and im putting my Crane Energizer 274 cam back in, we will she what it runs like after all that, im thinking it will do good, still debating on what i need to do about that factory 10 bolt posi rear end, id rather pull it and sell it and make money off of it and put something stronger that will hold in the place of it, rather then tear it up and not make a profit off it. advise plz lol

i know someone that i can prolly get Eaton Posi unit that was used in a 1983 Camaro that had a stock 305 in it and the man didnt abuse it at all, he would prolly let me have it for a couple hundred bucks, i changed it out for him and put a Auburn Locker unit in for him cuz he dropped a 502 big block in it lol

The Camaro posi won't work since that 10 bolt would be the crappy little 7.5 ring gear.

You might be able to find a posi from a '71-'81 Camaro or an 80's Caprice cop car.

Trucks always had the Gov-Loc that's known to fail, but from what I've seen, they were never in cars. Cars always had an actual posi type diff.

I wouldn't pay that for one. Now if it were a CUCV with 4.56's and a Detroit Locker, probably up to $500 since the locker alone is over $800 new. But there are 14b FF's to be had for $150 and I don't put a nickel of value into one if it has a G80 Locking Diff. Those suck and it means even if you want to add a lunchbox, you have to change the carrier. Now when those get a little scarce, you might pay up to $200, but especially for a buddy deal, I wouldn't pay over $150 for it.

Yes it's big and it's good. That's a 14b 10.5in Full Float. Break that one, then I'll believe you have some horsepower and 650ft lbs of torque. But, you won't break it. It'll probably hold up to all you can throw at it and that's why wheelers and rock crawlers want them. They are also very common, and only people buying is those who want them for wheeling because it's not people buying one to replace their broken one. They don't break. That's why they are so common. The truck will rust away long before the 14FF goes bad. They may get a bit noisy and get a bit of slop in them and some picky people will rebuild them, but they don't break. I only know of 1 person that broke one and it was very extreme conditions and was probably wore the hell out with some major abuse miles on it.
