I got the tb bolted to the intake, everything hooked up except for the fuel in line and the IAC. I have to reset it and I'm going to spray cleaner then air down the fuel feed line to make sure it's clean. I also removed the fuel filter to put on the new one once everything is cleaned. I bolted to gas tank bracket onto the tank, bought new bolts, washers, lock washers, and nuts to bolt it up with, and installed the sending unit back in the tank. I did all that yesterday.

Today I only cut the 7 crushed wires, removed the bad section and wired in new wire to reconnect them. This was caused by the last idiot who dropped the tank, samiched the wires between the tank bracket and the frame, crushed everyone of them. I'm shocked they never grounded out or that the things even worked.

I'm really hoping this weekend to get some new oil and fresh gas, and fire it back up to check it out.

forget I mentioned anything about this piece a crap.

brakes aint right, prop valve has air trapped or something, if you bleed the same rear wheel more then a couple times in a row the fluid barely comes out, and the pedal feels hard and works good without the truck running, but when the truck is running the pedal goes like an inch from the floor, and if you keep pressure on it or shove it harder it'll completely drop and trip the light.

The heater hose nipple is leaking, if I fix it then I have to change the hose. i got a 5/8 on it as it should be and it won't fit over the nipple. it fits over the heater core nupple fine. This thing is just getting on my last nerve.

the heater hose was my fault, installed new hoses and it's tight, I forced and twisted a bit much.

the brakes tho have no clue. it;s giving my fits on them. I even started a new thread in the brake section for help on them.

The 2 heater hoses are different diameters aren't they? You mix them up?

Dude, I had the same exact problem with my 89 GMT400. Brakes were never right. I did the same exact things you did, all new brakes all around, M/C, yanked the anitloc crap. I had a problem with that proportioning valve and the light going on and off and a ****** pedal, I never could figure it out.

I HATE WORKING ON BRAKE SYSTEMS.

I'm with ya, John. I hate working on brakes!! just a simple rotor and pad swap is fine but when it comes to bleeding the system or working on drum brakes I'd rather pay someone to do it to be honest

I think on mine one is 5/8 and one is 3/4 on the heater core nipples. Not a hundred percent on that but I replaced the 5/8 line last winter and I know for sure the other one is bigger.

I actually did something to this heap today...

I tinted the DS window.

Well actually I removed it from the door, cleaned it, tinted it, then reinstalled it. All in like 2 hrs or less.

Not bad for a 1 person job, I got a tear in it putting it back in and got one dirt spec in it.
I'll have to get pics tomorrow, gonna try and do the other one after we look at a house for sale.
